The Mount

The first thing you notice when you visit The Mount is that Mr Brain Dead and his band of Dribling Merry Morons have been there first and totally trashed the place.

Most of the windows have been smashed so there is glass everywhere and most of the buildings have been seriously trashed.

It is thanks to people like them that places to visit are getting harder to find.

The Buildings on the site are spread over quite a large area, In the center of the site there is a very securley boarded house that dates back to 1893, apart from the site being used as a Physio Thearpy Day Hospital we have not managed to find out much about the history of the site as yet.

On the day we went to check the site out we were lucky to find that a lot of the boards on the buildings had been pulled down so we were able to get access to quite a lot of the site they were still down on the first night we visited.

Unfortunately when we returned a couple of nights later to continue investigating the site all the buildings had been boarded back up again,

the locals had probably seen all the camera flashes on our first night visit and notified the Local Authority.

There are a couple of places of interset on the site where the themometer picked up large temprature drops,and there are at least two entites on the site that are probably just residual spirits as we did not get any responses of any kind when we were calling out in some of the buildings.

But the site is worth another visit at some point as we did get something on the video and cameras.
