Queen Victoria Country Park
The Old Military Cemetery is about a quarter of a mile from the old hospital site.
It is reached by a path thru the woods and covers an area of 17 acres it contains the remains of soldiers from both world wars, and is definitely worth a visit during daylight first to get to know the layout.
There was quite a large group of us on the night we visited so we were able to split up and cover quite a lot of the location.
We were on the site for a couple of hours altogether and there were quite a few sightings of mists travelling along the rows of graves a couple of people in the group saw a figure of a solider walking among the headstones.
And we all smelt a medical smell,(a bit like deep heat), there were also some noises and a couple of whispers that were quite clearly heard. Another site well worth visiting again.
